i have come to the conclusion that since i want to try new recipes and i have a picky eating family, i will simply have to make the things i want to make for myself! i'm sure that in the end i can convince at least one of my children to try something new, probably jordan since she's already willing to try other things.
so for today i will be making tomato soup, sweet potato muffins, and something dessert like to get us through the weekend. there are rumors of snow, but i'm not telling the kids since i really don't want to hear their disappointment when it doesn't actually happen. with snow & coastal south carolina, i'm more of a "i'll believe it when i see it" kinda girl!
i have finished crocheting a scarf for myself and started working on one for jordan since she requested one as well. the yarn for jordan's scarf is not one that i like working with, but she wants it and since i'm not buying new yarn for this whole project i'm gonna bite the bullet and finish it. hopefully, it'll all be worth it in the end and she'll love it...if not, then i'll have a pink/white scarf to donate to goodwill!
so far, so good with my whole project. at least i haven't really given up on anything...yet.
